Meet the Band

Jahmal Walden

Jahmal Walden

Jahmal Waldon is a well-rounded drummer from Washington D.C. Growing up in the D.C. area Jahmal was surrounded by many musical talents which helped influence his passion for music and playing the drums; but his biggest musical influence is his dad Jay Waldon who is also his favorite drummer.  Growing up he would watch his dad play on the professional level as he traveled the country and build a name for himself in Washington D.C.

At the tender age of 5 Jahmal started playing the drums at church, and by the time he was 12 he was playing at local teen clubs and social functions.  He formerly played with the Omaha based band the Disco MC’s.  Jahmal also has three children with his lovely Wife Kellie and calls the Omaha/Bellevue, NE area home.

One thing unique about Jhamal is he is an extremely quick learner who thrives at being busy, and finding additional ways to provide for his family.
